Learn More About Jessica Price, Founder of Little Sparrows
With over a decade of experience in education, Jessica Price brings a unique blend of expertise, creativity, and heartfelt dedication to Little Sparrows Preschool and Book Club in Orem, Utah. Jessica’s journey began with teaching positions at Challenger School and The Chrysalis Private School, where she spent two years at each institution developing her skills and passion for early childhood education.
Jessica holds an associate’s degree in Special Education from Utah Valley University and has spent the past fifteen years expanding her knowledge through professional courses and extensive reading. Her studies include child psychology, learning differences such as ADHD and autism, mindfulness in education, and the importance of reading and self-reflection for children. She has also choreographed dance music for Bonneville Elementary, served as choral director at Foothill Elementary, and created memorable musical dramas for end-of-year programs.
A lifelong learner and advocate for character education, Jessica has developed her own curriculum based on the Utah State Core and years of personal research. She believes in teaching the whole child—focusing on individuality, self-expression, and building life skills through hands-on, creative, and engaging lessons. Jessica’s approach values each child’s unique strengths, encourages questioning, and nurtures a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Jessica’s classroom is filled with over 2,000 carefully selected children’s books, and her lessons are designed to help children create lasting memories, not just seek instant rewards (though she admits Jolly Ranchers have their place!). She is known for her excellent record-keeping, her ability to make every child feel loved and valued, and her commitment to fostering a warm, respectful, and vibrant community.
Above all, Jessica Price is dedicated to helping children in Orem, Utah, grow into confident, creative, and compassionate individuals—ready to take on the world with curiosity and joy.
